Hello my name is Anna. I have always been passionate about farming especially showing and breeding sheep. A wish of mine has always been to own and breed my own sheep, this came true when I started my flock of Southdowns when I was 11 years old. If you also are interested in sheep, and like me not knowing which type to choose and not quite sure which breed is for you, Southdowns are a great option! As my family were already sheep farmers showing Bluefaced Leicesters I decided I wanted something a little different, so chose Southdowns as they are really quiet and easy to handle. My flock started off with just three ewes who, between them all, produced 3 ewe lambs.The ewes were bought in lamb so we have introduced a new Southdown tup Brompton (Alfie) into the flock.
